My Luke ROTJ V2 decided that it would take a flying leap off of the shelf it was sitting on. It scared the crap out of me because I was sitting at my desk a few feet away. Unfortunately the special clamp lever block threads stripped and I could no longer screw it back together. I was about to order another Luke ROTJ clamp lever from Roy at WannaWanga when I found that already had a spare from another V2 that I’m going to make into an Obi Wan Stunt.

It was tricky to get it back together and I bent the clamp slightly while wrestling with it multiple times. I had to bend the clamp back with a screwdriver to get it to fit together correctly, but it’s back to normal again.

I was originally planning to repaint this V2 body as an Obi Wan Stunt lightsaber but after that hassle I’m not sure I want to do that again. The reason I was thinking about changing this one into the Obi Wan stunt is because I put one of the stencils on upside-down, it’s the one between the clamp and the ribs. What do you think, should I keep this one as is? Or should I convert it into an Obi Wan Stunt. I have another V2 body and full set of stencils for it. Also there are some newer reference photos that show a brown-ish color on the section that would be the windvane that I obviously didn’t do.
